■Maja Ike, the founder and operator of c-talk club is the daughter of jazz singer Mariko Ike and the lyrics translator Alan Victor Suzuki and the granddaughter of Daisetz Suzuki, renowned Japanese Buddhist philosopher whose books on Buddhism and Zen teachings have been translated and widely read throughout the world.

■Maja Ike spent her childhood in Portland Oregon and graduated from Tokyo Music University and studied art under Mr. Mori ( Gallery Mori/Ginza).

■Maja Ike’s final life work is to teach English through music and art to Japanese children and give an opportunity to experience the life and culture of different countries.MONO+Eng. Class is the first step for children to feel the Sense of Wonder and mingle with children from all over the world.
